Aiko Tanaka is an independent Japanese pearl jewelry designer whose work is shaped by heritage, restraint, and reverence for natural formation. Raised near coastal waters known for pearl cultivation, she developed an early appreciation for pearls as living materials — formed slowly through time and quiet protection.

Guided by the Japanese philosophy of balance and intentional simplicity, Aiko designs settings that honor the pearl’s natural radiance rather than overpower it. Each piece is crafted in limited quantities, reflecting her belief that true luxury lies in patience, precision, and enduring elegance.
